There is a well here, and beside it a stone with a circular hole in the centre. The story told locally about this stone is that St Brigid used go herself to this well for water. She often leant her elbow on this flat stone at the edge of the well, while filling her vessel with water. The stone is known as "St Brigid's elbow" stone. It is in the field adjoining the one in which stands the group of stones known as "St Brigid's Chair""St Brigid's Chair" is in the centre of a field. It is very regular in shape. The stone, which forms the back of the chair, has a cross cut out in it.- Faisnéiseoir
