built a great stone bridge so that people and horses and carts could cross any day of the year. This bridge was built a few years ago. The date of the year is written on it. Along the river up on a little bank of green grass there is a beautiful well. The water is as clear as crystal in it. A great many people who live in the neighbourhood use the water for their tea. The well never goes dry even in the hottest weather. Some people call it "the Spa" because the water is so beautiful and cold to drink. This mountain "slipped" a few years ago. The flood brought it many miles away and the people made turf with the mud that was carried down near the town of Ballyconnell. - Bofealan - Ballyconnell.
There are two houses in Bofealan. They are William Teggart's and Michael Brady's. There are eleven people in Teggarts and four in Bradys. Mr Wm. Teggart is 76 years of age and is the oldest in the townland.
