Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)called a cave. It contains a well called Pollmagorm. It is said that anyone who puts his toes into the well will see blood on them when taken out.
The old people say that anyone who crosses the well will never come back. One time a wedding party led by a fiddler crossed the well and went down into the fort. They never came back. Up to the present day the music of that fiddler is still heard from the fort. The fairies took all the wedding guests away with them and the fiddle still provides the music for the fairy feasts.
Mr Bartley McGovern aged 70 of Gurteenaglough, Swanlinbar Co Cavan (farmer) gave the above information.
Referring to the fort marked (f) many years ago the owner of the land wanted firewood. He sent his man to cut down a lone bush. The hatchet slipped and injured his leg. It was lame for life. The owner then went to cut it(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Faisnéiseoir
