- The old coach road from Dublin to Enniskillen passed though the townlands of Drumbruchas, Drummod and Drumba directly on to the village of Kinawley 3 miles distant from the village of Swanlinbar. It branched out from the townland of Gortoral to Swanlinbar. There is a bridge in that townland into which a stone is said to be one of the old mile stones on the coach road is built. Another one was built into a bank opposite the house belonging to Mr. Patrick Kearns Swanlinbar, Co. Cavan.
