    are five old houses in ruins now. People named Reillys, Devlins, Fitzpatricks Cosgroves and Hickes emigrated to America and England in former years from here.
    The twnland is not menioned in any song or story. The land is very hilly and some parts of it boggy. There are no woods growing in it but small plantations. They take up much of the land. There is a stream which rises in Drumcalpion and flows through the townland of Knockfad into a bog and then flows on straight to the river Annalee.
