Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Half way between the crossroads north of the school and the first dwelling house there is what appears to be a drain.
    The people of the locality say it is a tunnel leading to a fort on the hill in Bannon's land.
    This drain is two feet wide and twenty inches deep, with flags at the bottom sides and top. No water flows from it even in the wettest weather.
    About ten feet up the drain it turns to the right or to the left. It is possible it ends there.
    Judging from its appearance it does not seem to be a tunnel. Neither does it appear to be a drain. Another explanation is that is was used for the drying of corn.
    The road is about one hundred and twenty years old. The drain itself is about five or
