   It takes five people to play "fool in the middle". Four girls make a square, and one stands in the middle. They run from corner to corner, and if the middle one, can hop into the corner first the other one has to stay in the middle.
   To play "pippity popity" a person gets a pin and puts it behind his back and changes it from hand to hand, then another one trys to guess which hand the pin is in, and while guessing repeats "Pippity poppity", play me a pin, here I wash, here I spin, open the door and let me in, here's the hand the pin lies in.
   "The hen and the flock of chickens", is played, in this way, a crowd of children gather around the "mothther hen" and when the "hawk" comes, they start fighting and the "chickens" go running about afraid of the "hawk."
   "See-saw" is played by putting a stick across a ditch, and a girl gets on each end of the stick, and they are heaved up and down.
   "Guessing colours" is another favourite game. Two people put a crowd of girls standing in a row. One of the two, names them, giving each a colour, as a name. The other guesses the colours, and if she guesses right, the girl with that colour, stands beside her. If she guesses wrong, then the girl
