    TOOTHACHE:-
    A live frog was put in the mouth, head foremost and held there for some time. Supposed to extract all badness from tooth.

    CONVULSIONS IN CHILDREN:-
    Food left after a ferret, boiled in new milk and given to child to drink.

    BED-WETTING BY CHILDREN:-
    Hay mouse boiled in new milk and given to drink. Certain cure.

    CHIN-COUGH:-
    Child put under a cow's belly and over her back three times in the name of the Blessed Trinity.

    THRUSH:-
    Mixture of (?) and honey placed on child's tongue.

    JAUNDICE:-
    1) The underneath roots of the Dockleaf, boiled for several hours and then drank.
    2) Several other cures for this disease in the locality, bu those who have the remedy will not divulge the secret, as they say if they do, they lose the power. They generally give it to one of their family when on their death-bed.

    CONSUMPTION:-
    The stem of the Dandelion to be sucked continuously.

    CONGESTION OF THE LUNGS:-
    A mustard (?) kept on continuously.

    RINGWORM:-
    Cover the affected part with ink.

    WARTS:-
    Forge-water, or water lodged in a stone. It will not do to look for the latter water, it must be come on accidentally. Also cator oil or Cahill's Blood.

    TETTERS:-
    Local man named Wm. Ahearne has cure for these, but will not divulge the secret.
