Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Killmalogue got its name from a diciple of St. Patrick, called Malogue. The Irish name of the townland is Cillmalóg.
    The Church of Malogue was built on Mr. Kennedy's farm, about the 5th or 6th century. There is no sign of the ruins there now, as the Church was destroyed during the time of Cromwell, about the year 1650.
    There was a Mass path leading from the road to the railway. There is no sign of it now. It may have been completely destroyed when the railway was being built. This information is not v. certain. Priests have tried to get its tradition but they have failed.
