   We keep cows, sheep and a good number of calves and a horse and an ass. We call the horse Charley and we call the ass John. When we are calling the pigs we say furish furish, and when we are hunting them away we would say muck muck. When we are calling the sheep we would say thaff thaffy. When we would be calling the calves we would say suck suck suck, and when we would want to hunt them away we would say hursh. When we are calling the cows we would say purhig purhig, and when we are driving them away we would say hursh. When we would be calling the hens we would thuck thuck thuck thuck and when we would want to hunting them away we would cearc cearc. When we would be calling the ducks we would say wheet wheet. When we would want to hunt them away we would say lach lac. Old people say if you made a cross of rushes and hang it up in the cows house, you would have the luck of the year.
