Completing the twelfth shirt. Suddenly there was a great flapping of wings in the air and twelve swans alighted on the cart. The maiden threw the twelve shirts on each of her brothers and they were changed into their rightful form except the arm of the youngest, which remains a swan's wing as the shirt was not complete. The king was delighted at the change in everything and he brought his happy wife and her twelve equally happy brothers home to his palace and they lived happily ever afterwards.
