  1. 1. There was a man once coming home from a fair, and he had thirty pounds in his pocket tied up in a handkerchief. He caught a hare and he tied the hares foot with the handkerchief. He put him into his pocket. The man put his hand to his pocket for his pipe, and the hare ran away with the handkerchief which contained the thirty pounds.
    2. Once upon a time there was a hound following a hare and he wounded him. The hare ran into an old house. The house and huntsmen followed him in. When they went in, all they found was an old women on the floor.
