  1. One time there was a man and he was very fond of card playing.
This night he was coming home after a great nights' card playing. He was very tired and weary.
As he was coming near his own gaate, he saw a man standing on the side of the road. The old man had a hat pulled down on his face.
    The other man said "Hello!"
"Hello!" my fine fellow", the old man said "cannot complain."
The old man was the devil. The devil said "Where are you coming from?"
The man said "I am coming home from playing cards in a house down the road."
The devil asked him was he a good card player. He said that he was the best in this country.
The devil asked him to play a game.
The man said that he would and so they started to play and the man won.
The devil told him to play another game for a gold watch that he had.
The two played and the devil won.
