  1. Once there lived in Drom Beag a man, and he lived all alone in a little thatch house near the sea. After a while he got married, and he was only married six months when his wife fell sick. She was sick for two months, and was unable to eat any food.
    One day he was going to Eyeries on a message and he met Maíre Ní Murcada near Eyeries cross. She asked him how was his wife. "She have a turn to the better these days" said the man. "Mo leir" says Maíre for she is far from better, for your wife is in the fairies a laoig. Then he asked Máire what would he do. She answered him. She told him to get a boat and six strong oarsmen, she also told him to be up to the top of this certain mountain at
