  1. Cures
A cure for Whooping Cough is found by asking the first person you meet driving or riding a grey animal. "What will cure this Whooping Cough - and whatever that person tells you to do be sure and do it and the cough ceases.
    [-]
To cure a Headache people make the sign of the Cross on their forehead with vinegar.
To cure Warts bathe them in forge water, that is the water in the trough in which the smith cools the hot iron.

  2. For Boils
Pat Taylor, now dead had this cure: Get some fresh robin-run-the-hedge- (a weed) boil in saucepan at night, pour into a bowl and let cool until morning - and drink some of it Another cure is to rub goats milk on the boils. Then boil the milk many times then let cool and the boils will soon disappear.
