  1. On holy Thursday children go around to the neighbouring houses with a basket gathering eggs and asking for their Clúideog.
    On good Friday the people go to Mass and at three o'clock they go to the chapel again and make the Stations of the Cross.
    On New year's day bells ring. "Ring out the old ring in the new ring happy bells across the snow. The year is going let him go: the year is dying, let him die."
