There is a hill beside our land the name of it is "Cnoc na Gainne" and it is said that there was fairies on the hill and that they had a pass along a lane that is near our house and that they crossed the road and that there was a stable built on the pass and every cow or calf in the stable would die. And the people in the house would hear singing every night.
