  1. Long ago the young children used to hang up a big stoken so that Santa would put some thing in-to them. When the people of the house would get them asleep they would put a potatoe in-to them and they would think that it was Santa that put it in.
    On Christmas night every one puts holly and ivy in-side the pictures and in every part of the house.
    Long a go they used to have two suppers on Christmas night. One in the evening
