    Once upon a time there lived two men named Jack the fool and Jim the wise man.

    Once upon a time there lived two men named Jack the fool and Jim the wise man. They had a very small farm and Jim worked on it and Jack used to work around the house. In those times porridge was all the food that used to be eaten. This day Jim went out working and he had a long distance to go and he told Jack when the porridge would be boiled to bring it out to him. So Jim told Jack to secure the cows well while he would be away and not to let them stir. Jack was a fool and when he was going out with the porridge to Jim he cut the legs off the cows and said 'now ye wont stir anyways' When he was going it was a very fine day and the sun was shining in the sky Hack saw his shadow on the ground and he though it was a man coming after him for porridge and he kept throwing a spoonful to his shadow, and when he reached Jim he had no porridge left
