  1. The Churn 16-3-1938
    The churn we use is a barrell churn it is shaped like a barrell.
    It is made of timber and iron.
    It is different churn to the one used long ago. The churn we use is worked this way. The churn is put up on a stand and the whole churn is twisted about by means of a handle. There is a lid about two feet wide on it and there is a little glass on the lid and by means of that glass we know when the butter is made.
    The churn used long ago was called a plunge churn it
