  1. It is believed by the old people, that there is a pot of gold hidden about two miles from my village.
    It is said, it is hidden under a lake, and that there is a large snake guarding the pot.
    Long ago, the lake was drained by some people, and it is said they saw the pot of gold, and around it was a large snake.
    The men tried to get the pot of gold, but they were driven back by the snake. They ran home afraid and no one looked for it since.
    I got the above information from my father.
