    and he brings it to the head-land. Then he puts the blue stone into a bag and he hangs it on the barrel. He lets the blue stone sling down in the water so that it will melt. When it is melted he puts the washing soda into the barrel also. Then he sprays the potatoes with a spraying machine, so that the blight will not come on them.
    When they are fit to be dug he gets a spade and he digs them. Then a person gets a bucket and he picks the big potatoes and he puts them in a pit. The farmer brings home the small potatoes and he gives them to the fowl and to the pigs.
    In spring time he brings the potatoes into a shed. Then he uses them. He keeps
