    One day he was drinking in a public house. When he was drunk he went out into the yard, and there was another man in the yard. Just then a waiter crossed the yard with a piece of cheese. He snapped it and threw it away. The other man said "you might be glad of that yet."
    The next day he called to the same public house. He met a man who inquired for a certain viallage nearby. When he did not give him money, he only made fun of him and asked two tramps to beat him but they would not do so.
    The stronger lighted his pipe and some kind person told him the road. The coach man passed him by on the road. As he was passing him by he knocked the pipe out of his mouth with his whip
