    Once a cat came into Pat Cannavan...

    Once a cat came into Pat bannavan house at night. Pat got vexed and kicked it outside. After a while about twenty came in. Pat got a stick and beat them out of the house and back as far as Gill's fort. When he got there he could only see a few.
    He came home them but there were twice as many cats before him. He did the same with them, but when he was coming home again he was afraid to look either sides of him. Every step he would give the he would see a cat as big as himself, with two eyes that would show him enough light to pick him. When he came home the next time there were three times as many cats before him
