  1. On Easter Sunday seven or eight children gather together. They make a fire on top of a hill and they have a saucepan, eggs, butter, bread and spoons. They always have the eggs stolen a week before Easter.
When they have all ready they spread out a cloth on the grass and they leave all the things on it [sic] They boil the eggs and each one gets plenty of eggs. When they have all done they make tea and every one eats enough, When they are all tired they make other sport. Then they go home.
