  2. Travelling people used call at the houses here long ago. They used to stay at the house and in return for the hospitality given to them, they helped the people with the house-work and needle work. Old blind fiddlers used to go around the country and the very minute the people heard the music they were out dancing jigs, reels and hornpipes.
