    Rt hand side of Old Road from Balrothery to Greenhills, 1/2 way between the two villages.
    Erected in reign of King John.
    In ruins as early as 1547.

    near Tallaght.
    Property of Talbots.
    Often scene of encounters between the O'Byrnes of Imail & the Talbots.
    A daughter of the House of Belgard was abducted by a chief of the O'Byrnes. (She was captured by Kerns near Glenasmole & rescued from them by Conor O'Byrne. She & her lover were seized & brought to Belgard.
