- In this district we hear many fairy stories. Long ago they were more common and more people believed in them. To-day they are dying out and few people believe in them.
One night last winter as we were sitting round the fire, Mick Tunney came in. He was not long in when we asked him to tell a story and so to please us, he told the following story.
