    Once upon a time there was a servant girl in this district. She was hired with a rich man and woman.

    Once upon a time there was a servant girl in this district. She was hired with a rich man and woman. One day her master and mistress left to go to America on business and they told her to keep the house while they were away. So they left that morning for America. The next night there came a knock on the door. The girl would not open the door. Then there came a note down the chimney and the girl caught it and read it. She read in it that there were two men coming down the chimney to kill her.
    She then went to the door and the woman who was at the door gave her a sword. When the two
