    In the district of Glenagannon there were two men whose names were William Farren and Andrew Callaghan of Gragan.

    In the district of Glenagannon there were two men whose names were William Farren and Andrew Callaghan of Gragan. These two men were out stilling at night beside the river. When the still was in good going order one of the men went up to the house for a bag of turf. While he was away the other man heard great singing and laughing and he got frightened and left the still. On his way up to the house he met Andrew coming down with the bag of turf and he inquired of him what was wrong and William told him not to be afraid that it was the fairies and he heard them many times before. They went back to the still
