- There is one monument in this district.
It was erected in the grounds of Mr. Harvey. It was put up because Mr. Harvey wished to have a monument put up on his own ground when he died.
Beside Carndonagh Church stands a cross. It is called St. Patrick's cross.
In a field owned by John Doherty there is a huge stone. It has the markings of foot and hand and fingers on it.
It has been there for generations and it is said it was thrown from Slieve Snaght by a giant long, long ago.
There are other peculiar stones in our district but I can not find any stories connected with them.- Collector
