    The Local Landlord.
    Skerries, Co. Dublin.
    Lord Holmpatrick is the present landlord and his forefathers were the farmer landlords. Long ago the O'Leary's were evicted for not paying their rent. Some of the family went to America and the others stopped in Ireland. The descendants of these O'Leary's are living in Whitestown and Skerries.
    Over fifty years ago the Rush people and Skerries people fought over the taking of sea-weed by the Rush people off the shores of Skerries. Here is a song made up by the Rush people at that time:-
