    piece of rag. They pulled it out and to their amazement it was a stocking filled with soverigns valued about two hundred pounds. They stole the treasure but the news spread and they were arrested. The men were Michael Hynes, Michael Nolan and Matthew Dunne. A court was held and they were sentenced to imprisonment. Mr. Dunne said when he was being put in jail, that he had some of the money hid in a polish box at Magines[?] Cross. The stolen money was returned and Mr. Lacy claimed it.
