They would call another girl and ask her which would she prefer an apple or an orange and if she said an apple she would go behind the girl that preferred the apple. Then they start pulling and they keep on pulling until some side falls then the other side has won.
There is another game called "Four-corner fool". This is how it is played. Four children stand at four corners and one person stands in the middle and the person that stands in the middle is called the "fool". The children start changing from corner to corner, and the "fool" will try to get into a corner and to make a fool of another person.
There is another game called "Lúrabóg, Lárabóg". A crowd of children sit round the fire and one child says this rhyme:-"Lúrabóg, lárabóg,
