    Old Trades
    Candle Making.
    Candle making was carried on by Richard Kilgariff the squad Juam he used to make them out of tallow the fat of animals and these candles were very yellow and were called Penny Dips.
    Rope Making
    Rope making was carried on by a person called Peg, No Ropa she used to make them out of bog deal.
    Nail Making.
    Nail making was carried on by garret Dillon Bishop Street Juam.
    Churns tubs and barrells were made by Mr. Butter Bishop Street Juam. Baskets and says were made by John Searry of Ballaghlode.
    Weaving was carried on by Patrick Command of Bakernagry he used to weave blankets and all kinds of flannel.
    Shoe Making.
    Shoe making was carried on by a man called Ned Collins of Lavally.
