These are the cures for a burn - if you lick a Man Creeper you will have the cure of a burn on your tongue even afterwards. The salve of maiden and unsalted butter fried together and strained will cure a burn.
The cure of a heart - ache is - the patient comes fasting to the house of the man or women who makes the cure. First the man or woman put eaten meal into a cup holds it over the patients heart and repeats special prayers . This is done for nine mornings and some of the eaten meal is supposed to disappear out of the cup if the patient has really heart disease. the meal that is left in the cup is turned into a "bonnach" and the patient eats it on the ninth morning.
