    For me there is no place at least that I know
    Like that beautiful spot Ballybunion.

    There is one place unrivalled for taking a stroll,
    Watching the waves as in mountains they roll
    That's round by Doon Cliffs and the nine Daughters hole
    In that beautiful spot Ballybunion.

    The old castle too is a historic scene
    Where Saxon and celt at one time I ween
    Disputed the rights of the old castle green
    In that beautiful spot Ballybunion.
