   To dream of bread is a sign you'ld be getting married. To dream of fish is a sign of trouble. If you dream of the devil, you'ld hear of a death. If you dream you are in a train, tis a sign of a robbery. If you dream of rats, tis a sign you'll have enemies. If you took home a bean on Nov. night, and put it into your right stocking, and put it in the bed under your head, you'll dream of the person you'll marry.

2. Cures

   If a person had warts he could get rid of them by putting a small stone for each wart into a box and putting it on the road. The person who would get the box would take all the warts.
   If you rub a piece of meat to warts, and then bury it in the dung-hill, you will get rid of the warts.
   A fasting spit for nine mornings rubbed to warts will clean them away.
   If you tie a piece of silk thread round warts they will go away.
   If you washed your face in the dew of the morning all your freckles would go away.
   If you had hiccoughs and to drink nine sups of water twould cure them.
   If you had hiccoughs and to take a deep breath twould cure them.
   If there was anything wrong with you, and if you asked a cure of a traveller and if he gave it to you, twould cure you.
   If you rubbed a fasting spit to a "sty" for 9 mornings, twould be cured.
