    Local fair. A fair was held just behind this school on the Hill of Carbury twice yearly - 26th May and 2nd October. It was a typical aonach there being fun and merriment for old and young after the transactions of the day. Refreshments were served hawkers having come with their stands as occurs in many places this day.
