    St Brigid whose feast day is on the 1st February, is patroness of Ireland. She above all other women Saints, should get special honour from the Irish, but instead of that, cowds of young Irish boys, and even girls, dress up, in old ragged clothes, and false faces and go from place to place, making a mockery of her. Of course they do not understand it, but all the same, they should get out of it. The only way to do this is not give them anything, and to hide
