    A quill pen was used in the writing of the copy book The ink was made from a certain kind of berry and has not faded a bit.
    On one page is written
    Denis Cribbens sum book 1853
    Again on two other pages we find
    Denis Cribben 13 of July 1855 and Denis Cribben 20 of July 185x. This last figure is not decipherable.
    Again we find
    Denis Cribben 6th April 1854.
    The latest date in the book is 1861 that is 77 years ago.
