    "O 'my God' I thank Thee for having brought me safely through the night'.
    "I rise from this bed of sleep to adore my God and to labour for the salvation of my soul. O may I rise on the last day to Life everlasting." (said on rising).
    "O my God clothe my soul with the nuptial robe of charity and grant that I may wear it pure and undefiled before Thy judgement seat" (said while dressing).
    "O my God enkindle in my soul the fire of Thy divine love" (said when lighting the fire).
    "All for Thee O Lord, O My Jesus All for Thee" (said when beginning work).
    "God direct my foot steps and grant that my journey may succeed." (said when setting out on a journey).
    "May Jesus give me patience" (said when inclined to anger).
    "May I enjoy the light of heaven" (said when lighting candle or lamp).
