  1. In Lissonuffy and Cloontuskert there are two graveyards. In olden days there was a monastery in Lissonuffy and in Cloontuskert. In these monasteries there lived monks. It was about that time that Cromwell came to Ireland. Cromwell been a Protestand hated the Catholicals on account of their religion. He routed the monks out of there monasteries and took from them their books and all their valuables.
    One day the monks of Cloontuskert monastery were praying outside when one of them saw Cromwell's red coat coming in the distance. The monks got ready and packed all their books and other valuables in boxes and started for the monastery in Lissonnuffy. They went in single file across Slieve Bawn mountain. When their
