  1. In my school district there are many fields and places to which different names are given.
    Not far from the school is a little field called "Rabbitstown". It is said that long ago there was a large number of rabbits to be seen in their burrows and the burrows were so numerous the place resembled a town. Hence the name Rabbitstown. At the other end of the field is a place called Poll na gCapall. On one side is a stream and on the other a wood. In the centre is a double well. There is a story fold of how it got its name
