    of years after the land lord was killed, a neighbouring farmer went into Daly's yard looking for cattle which he had lost. As he was opening the gate, which was leading to the yard, he saw the land lord walking out of the haggard. He turned back and went home, he never went into the yard afterwards.

  2. About five miles to the west of Bantry there is a townland called Atha Gamhna. There is a family named Crowley living in a farm in the townland. There is a large fort in their farm and this fort was surrounded by large ash trees.
