  1. On May Eve a green branch used to be hung in front of the door, and green rushes used to be sprinkled at the door to welcome the Summer. "Piseoig" used to be set on that day. The people used to sprinkle holy water to keep the power of the "Piseoig" away.
    It was said that whoever would get the first water out of the well on May Morning would have the most luck for the year. The people used to stay up until midnight to get the water.
