  1. Cloncrew graveyard contains the remains of an abbey (?) popularly supposed to have been originally commenced on Highmount height. The foundation's were believed to have been mysteriously removed, at night, to the present position, on the right bank of the river Deel & about a mile from the public road. The ruin's, which consist of the two gables, are in the Cloncrew (Milford, Ráth Luirc) graveyard.
