  1. There are not many names on fields around my district, except on Mr Ladd's land. The names of some of them are, The Prairie Field, The Pond Field, The Pound Field, Frasers Field, The Wood Field, The Long Field, The Long Meadow, and The Daffodil Field. There is a rock not far from my house called Primroses Rock, and there is a height called Sheehan's height near Ballywalter, Castletownroche. The Camp Field or "Páirc an Champa", is situated on Mr Noonan's land Conniberry, Castletownroche. Long ago in the year 1649 when Cromwells army came to Ireland, they were camping in the Camp Field.
