    He returned to Ballymacoda and took charge of his old parish again. At the age of eighty eight he died and was interred in the churchyard at Ballymacoda.

  2. Long ago a very rich man lived in Youghal. He was very cruel and very unkind to the poor. When the poor people used to ask him for alms he would say "May grass never grow on your grave."
    When he died he was buried in St. Mary's grave yard. Grass never grew on his grave. People set grass-seeds but no grass ever grew.
