There is a lios in the farm of Jack Hennessy which is called the "cúinne dubh" There used a black pig appear there and he used to walk around the lios It is also called the vally of the black pig. Some time ago it is said that Biddy Early stopped there for some days coming from Clare to Castle Gale on the borders of Cork and Limerick.
